Please read these terms and conditions before ordering any products from our website (www.simplyworktops.co.uk). You should understand that by ordering any of our Products, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

The placing of an order confirms acceptance of our terms and conditions of business. Please ensure you read and understand these terms before ordering.

These terms and conditions do not affect the customer’s statutory rights.

Making a purchase could not be easier.

Go to our online shop via the homepage were you can add your selections to the online cart, proceed to checkout where you will be asked for details necessary for us to be able to complete the order.

Please ensure you fill in all details requested including your email address and if possible, both land line and mobile phone numbers, so we can confirm details to you. If you have any questions you can call us to order and pay over the telephone.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use this website.  www.simplyworktops.co.uk (Simply worktops Ltd) reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update these terms of use, and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations, or updates on subsequent visits.

PURCHASES:


The products displayed on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Although, we make every effort to display the products accurately (colour and texture), and to show a true likeness of the product(s), we cannot not guarantee that the images you view on www.simplyworktops.co.uk reflects the products you receive in its entirety.

Certain worktop(s) may be on an extended lead time depending on stock availability.


ORDERING OF GOODS:

 On completion of placing your order online you will receive an email acknowledgement sent to the email address you have provided when you placed your order. Please note that this does not mean your order has been accepted by us. The contract between you the customer and us the supplier is formed when the goods are dispatched. We reserve the right at any time prior to acceptance to refuse any order or any part of an order. 

 If goods are ordered over a weekend, bank holiday or after 3:00pm on a working day the order date is taken as being the next working day. 

 In the event that there is a pricing error on the website then "Simply worktops ltd" will not be bound to honour any orders made at that price.

 By placing an order with us by phone, you will be automatically added to our marketing list. If you wish to be removed from this list please let us know by writing or via the telephone number listed on our website.

 

CANCELLATION OF ORDER: (prior to goods been shipped):

To cancel your orders please email:  hello@simplyworktops.co.uk. 

If your order has already been dispatched, you will be unable to cancel your order. In these circumstances you will have to return the goods yourself as stated under the Returns Policy

Refunds will be issued as soon as possible in all cases and within 30 days from the day the order is cancelled and a refund requested by you the customer. Specially ordered items and "bespoke made to measure items" cannot be cancelled or returned unless damaged or faulty, this includes

All made to order furniture or accessories

Any items that are bespoke and made to customer’s specifications 

Please note that all deposits are non-refundable. If you wish to cancel an order where a deposit has been left we will be unable to refund this amount. 

 We are unable to accept cancellations of orders when you have informed us that you will collect the item as the items will be special ordered to us ready for collection.

‘In the event of a refund, it can take between 3-5 days for this to be fully processed’.

‘If you have made payment by debit or credit card, the refund will directly be re-credited to the same debit/credit card from which you made payment’.

‘If you have made payment by BACS transfer, the refund will directly be transferred to same bank account from which you made payment’.


SHORTAGES AND DAMAGES:


Please do not book tradesmen or remove existing fittings until you have received and checked your order.

You agree to open all boxes and packaging of items delivered by our courier service, thoroughly check the contents for damage and notify us (within 24 hours) via email at hello@simplyworktops.co.uk if there is any damage/shortage. If the packaging of the goods appears damaged on delivery please ensure that this is noted on the delivery note. 

Any damage or any incorrect goods must be reported via email to hello@simplyworktops.co.uk within one working day of delivery with a description and/or photographs of the damage or the incorrect goods. If the goods are damaged or are incorrect, you must NOT install the products. Simply Worktops Ltd will not be held accountable and all claims will be void if you install damaged or incorrect worktops. breakfast bars, splashback and/or upstands. Failure to follow the above instructions will result in a void claim if  and if damage is found at a later date, those claims will also be null and void.

For goods dispatched using a pallet service you agree to check all the goods for any damage. Any products damaged in transit must be noted at the time of delivery and documented on the delivery note. We will not accept any claims for damaged goods in transit that were signed for as being in good condition but subsequently found to be damaged when checked after the initial delivery. 

Worktops, breakfast bars, splashbacks and upstands need to be checked on delivery and refused if any damage is found to be present. 

If part of an order is damaged on delivery, please accept all of the order but make a clear note on the delivery note about which item(s) are damaged. Notify us within 24 hours and we will arrange collection of the damaged item(s) and delivery of the replacement item(s). Do not refuse delivery unless all items are damaged. 

If you appoint someone else to receive and sign for the goods on your behalf, you agree to advise them that the goods must be checked and you as the customer accept full responsibility for any damage or losses if they sign on your behalf without properly checking the goods. 

We cannot accept or even consider any claims for damages or shortages if we are not informed of such within 24 hours after the delivery has been accepted by you the customer. 

As the customer you accept full responsibility for any loss or damage to the goods once signed for. 

If a bespoke item arrives damaged and is signed for accordingly (with the damage noted on the delivery note) a replacement will be dispatched once manufactured and customer re advised of new delivery date accordingly.

If the Company is so notified of shortages or an error with the order, the company will make every effort to replace or source the products outstanding and deliver to you, but in no circumstances will the company be liable or responsible for any consequential loss allegedly caused by a shortage or error.



RETURNS POLICY:

(If faulty)

This applies to goods which develop a fault after installation. 

We will from time to time change the prices quoted on our website, but this will not affect contracts that have previously come into force.

It is possible that prices on the website may be incorrectly quoted; errors and pricing may vary. Accordingly, we will verify any adjustment to prices as part of our sale procedures so that the correct price will be notified to you once the contract comes into force, prior to dispatch. 

In addition to the price of the products, you may have to pay a delivery charge, which will be notified to you before the contract of sale comes into force. 

By using this website (www.simply worktops.co.uk) you agree to be bound by the following conditions of use. If you do not wish to be bound by these conditions, then please do not use the site.

This site is virus free. You agree that you will not make a claim for damages as a result from using this website. The owners of this website operate to the highest standards and do not believe that using this website can cause loss or damage to your PC.

 The majority of products supplied come with a 12 month manufacturer’s guarantee. When products are stated as having longer guarantees, these guarantees are covered by the product manufacturer and not Simply Worktops Ltd. 

 In the event of faulty goods being returned direct to us at the expense of the customer, we will refund all reasonable postage and packaging costs once provided with a receipt for the same. 

 All returned faulty goods are tested by the manufacturer. If the item is found not to be faulty the product value will be refunded minus the cost of the testing process. 

 All solid surface items must be checked for colour/batch matches within 24 hours of delivery and if any colours do not match we must be notified within 24 hours of delivery. Once the items have been fitted or worked on no replacements will be considered.

 

 RETURNS POLICY:

  (Non-faulty)

 If you do not require a product after you have received delivery, you may cancel your order at any time until the end of the fourteenth (14) working day after the day on which you originally received your order. This is called your “cooling off period”.

 To cancel your orders please email us at hello@simplyworktops.co.uk. 

 If you cancel your order, you will be responsible for returning the goods to us in good condition and at your own cost. You have responsibility of care by law to ensure that the goods are received by us in a good and unused condition. 

We reserve the right not to accept any goods where the packaging is damaged or defaced and therefore unsuitable for resale. 

 Please note that any items that you wish to return that are not faulty will incur a 40% re-stocking fee. You are also responsible to cover the return delivery costs and ensure that all items are received by us in a brand new, unopened, undamaged, re-sellable condition. 

 Unfortunately all worktops, breakfast bars, splashbacks and upstands are non-returnable. We are unable to accept returns of worktops, breakfast bars, splashbacks and upstands unless they are damaged in transit or faulty from the manufacturing process.

If in the event the worktop, upstand, splashback received is incorrect to what was ordered, the customer must report this via email to hello@simplyworktops.co.uk or telephone on 03301 656862, within in one working day of the delivery. If the incorrect worktop, upstand, splashback is installed, or defaced, then no replacement will be offered, and will result in a void claim.


REFUNDS:

In the event of a refund, it can take between 3-5 working days for this to be fully processed.

If you have made payment by BACS transfer, the refund will directly be transfered to same bank account from which you made payment.


DELIVERIES:

Please note for us to get our products delivered to you without issues please make sure there are "two abled bodied people" at the location to offload the product from the kerbside delivery, as often the delivery drivers delivering the goods will not offload the goods themselves, and will require "two able bodied people" to offload there own delivery from the kerbside themselves.

We will arrange for the products you purchase to be delivered to the delivery address you specify during the checkout process.

We will use reasonable endeavours to deliver your products on or before the date for delivery set out in the order confirmation or, if no date is set out in the order confirmation, within 7 days following the date of the order confirmation; however, we do not guarantee delivery by this date.

We do guarantee that unless there are exceptional circumstances all deliveries of products will be dispatched within 30 days following the later of receipt of payment and the date of the order confirmation.

We will only deliver products to addresses on the UK mainland as per our postcode delivery costings upon checkout available on our website. Additional charges may be incurred for certain areas.

· Important Notice: Even though we do our very best, please leave room for error, we advise you not to book a fitter or trades person or remove any of your fixtures or fittings before you have received your order/worktop(s) and checked they are in new condition and all parts are accounted for, as replacements and follow on items will take time to sort out. Simply Worktops Ltd cannot be held accountable or held liable for any tradesmen/fitter(s) costs, in the event of your worktop(s) arriving damaged, or incorrect worktop(s) received, and/or the delivery not arriving on your scheduled date.


FAILED DELIVERIES:

If a delivery is made the delivery charge will still be applicable. Re-delivery to the address or to an alternative address must be supplied by the customer; this will incur an additional charge. New redelivery charges are normally set at the same cost of the original delivery. 


PRICES:

Our prices are quoted on our website.


We will from time to time change the prices quoted on our website, but this will not affect contracts that have previously come into force.


All amounts stated in these terms and conditions or on our website are as stated inclusive of VAT.
